Thank you for your interest in Church of the Holy Communion. We are grateful to the Lord for this wonderful oasis in the middle of far North Dallas. From the moment you drive onto the lovely grounds, the pastoral environment takes you to another world. It’s a deep and refreshing world that has been special literally for centuries. Native Americans met here. Early pioneers and settlers herded cattle to drink from the creek behind the parish. They grew cotton, raised their families and even buried their loved ones in the cemetery. Most importantly, Christians have worshipped God in this place since the 1860s.

As the hustle and bustle of the city have expanded into the dynamic residential and business community of the Bent Tree area, the same church still stands reminding us all of certain timeless realities. This is good, for we all want a spiritual anchor for our families amidst the storms of this life. At the same time, it is a traditional Episcopal parish full of life with growing families of all ages. Young and “younger” gather around the time-proven Biblical worship of the Book of Common Prayer to fellowship with God and one another. We have something for all ages and most especially for your family.

Now that you’ve taken the effort to visit our web site, may I be the first to invite you to Church of the Holy Communion. You’ve probably heard the expression, “You won’t believe it until you see it.” Well, it’s absolutely true about this magical place. So there is nothing more I can say except, “come and see.” May the Lord bless.

Sincerely in Christ,
