Ladies of the church who prepare the altar for worship services and tend to the needs of the clergy. The Altar Guild Directress is Dss. Mary Jane Mathieu.

ORDER OF ST. LUKE

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

Helen Lankford, leader of our Prayer Shawl Ministry, and her team of knitters meet monthly (normally on the 4th Saturday of each month) in the Library of the Edman Building. The Prayer Shawl Ministry continues to be a very successful ministry of Church of the Holy Communion. The ladies knit shawls for people who are hurting and are in need of comforting. The shawls are knitted with love and are prayed over and blessed prior to being given to the recipient. The shawls are also given on happy occasions, such as the birth of a baby.

USHERS

Head usher, Eric Smith, and his team of ushers assist in all of the church services by greeting members and visitors, helping with seating issues, handing out church bulletins and are there to help with any emergency situation that may arise.
