HCW (Holy Communion Women) plays a vital role in the life of The Church of the Holy Communion. Throughout the year, HCW (and its sub-groups) plan programs, activities, projects, and fundraisers for the immediate Church family and for the community as well. HCW is self-funded by its wonderful Church gift shop, The Silver Chalice; the "New to You" Gently Used Jewelry Sale; the November Bake Sale; and individual donations.

HCW Outreach includes the residents of Collinwood Care Center who have special needs, the CHC Prayer Shawl Ministry, and Hope's Door (a shelter for abused women). HCW Inreach includes Counterpain, the Sanctuary Kneeler project, social events for the parish, the Lenten Soup Suppers, and various purchases needed for the Church and for our parish hall, Lunt Hall. All women of the church are members of HCW.
