The Fielder family serves as missionaries in Lilongwe, Malawi. Jon is a doctor and works at the Partners in Hope Medical Center. His duties include clinical care (especially focusing on HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis), teaching, administration and community follow-up of patients.

Dr. Fielder also heads the African Mission Healthcare Foundation. His wife Amanda cares for their three children—Matthew, Aaron, and Anna—and has taught Malawian women seeking to become sexual abuse counselors.

The Fielders have been members of the Church of the Holy Communion since 2007. Their missionary sending agency is SIM.
