Church of the Holy Communion

Welcome to the Church of the Holy Communion.

Located in Dallas, TX, you will find a ready and Christian welcome when visiting our church. Our concern is to show God's love to anyone visiting with us. We want to get to know you, and hope you will feel at home with us.

Rebuilding the walls of Orthodox Christianity as ambassadors for Christ, reconciling the world to God.

A Place to Worship God
As you enter, you will notice an atmosphere of reverence. Scripture makes clear that worship is God drawing us into His presence by His grace, into His throne room. That is first played out in the quiet, prayerful way we enter the church building. We enter God's house, God's throne room.

Inside, the placement of the Holy Table is central to our focus. On the right side as you look forward is a lectern on which the Bible is placed. From here the Lessons for the day are read. On the left side is the pulpit, from which the sermon is preached.

Many ask what the difference is between the Episcopal Church USA and the Reformed Episcopal Church. In a brief answer, we are the Episcopal Church of old. We are more conservative than the Episcopal Church of today.

We believe that the Holy Scriptures are the inerrant Word of God and are the highest authority. We cannot ignore or change the parts we do not like. They are, as St. Paul says, "Given by inspiration of God and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."
