Request Pastoral Care
We’re here for you.
Pastoral Care is where the rubber meets the road in terms of relating the great spiritual truths of Christianity and Anglicanism to the problems encountered by people in dealing with the secular world in which they live. It is carried on in varying degrees by all ordained members of the CHC clergy, with the undersigned attempting to coordinate and document the overall effort to make certain that none who need such support go without it.
CHCC is focused on those who are homebound, undergoing medical treatment, or have permanent residence in a full-time care facility. The pastoral staff looks to the needs of such members by visiting, anointing, praying and delivering the Holy Sacrament. We communicate with the staff, Prayer Team, All Saints Ministry, Prayer Shawl Ministry, and Daughters of the Holy Cross as needed to provide a connection to parish life and ministry.
In addition, CHC clergy are available on a “by request” basis to address other issues not involved in the above efforts, such as individual confession and / or counseling on personal problems, relationship issues, addiction problems, and the like. Individuals seeking this type of pastoral care are encouraged to contact members of the clergy on a direct basis.
