Youth and Young Adult Ministry

In today’s culture, finding others who hold to Christian faith and values is critical for our youth.  At Church of the Holy Communion Cathedral, we are committed to providing opportunities for our youth to grow in their faith and service to Jesus Christ while also developing friendships and support from peers who share that same faith. Friday Fun Night!

Ages 3+

Friday Fun Night provides an opportunity for our children to have an evening of fun, food, and games. The church provides dinner and kids are encouraged to invite their friends. FFN is supervised by Fr. Michael along with teachers from our parish pre-school (HCCA) who provide a fun, safe, and secure environment for all who attend. Friday Fun Night occurs monthly on the 3rd Friday from 6:30pm – 9:00pm for ages 3 (potty trained) and older.

Holy Communion Youth

Ages 12 - 18

Holy Communion Youth (HCY) gathers every Wednesday night from 6:00pm – 7:30pm during the school year. Our youth group provides a regular place for the older kids to come together to grow closer to the Lord and to one another. Fr. Michael provides a short, interactive teaching that is geared towards exhorting our students to a deeper and closer walk with God.  They also eat together, play games together, worship together, and pray together.  If your teen has yet to attend a Wednesday night, we would love to see them there and their guests are welcome too!

Vacation Church Camp

Ages Pre-school - 12 (Campers)

Vacation Church Camp occurs annually at the CHCC campus in June.  Typically attracting over 100 kids, the camp is geared towards pre-school and elementary school-aged children with middle and high school student campers acting as counselors and mentors under adult supervision.  Themes are taken from Old and New Testament lessons and activities throughout the week emphasize and provide additional teaching on the chosen theme. Daily activities include camp songs, crafts, skits, scavenger hunts, softball, chapel, a water day, and a camp play at the end of the week. The camp is from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on Friday.  We hope to see your children there!       Register Now!

College & Young Career Adults

The good Samaritans

The Good Samaritans is our college and young adult group ministry which encourages growth and spiritual formation through corporate worship, Sunday school, and fellowship with one another. Good Samaritans also seek to reach out to the community that God has placed them in with special service projects.
