The Sixth Sunday After Trinity
Jul 27, 2025 • The Rt. Rev Dr. Charles Camlin
This Sunday’s Homily addressed the Christian’s proper attitude toward sin. St. Paul reminds us that in baptism we have already died to sin and been raised with Christ to walk in newness of life. Yet, because sin still seeks to enslave us, we must daily count ourselves dead to sin and alive to God. Through confession, absolution, and the Holy Eucharist, God restores us with forgiveness and grace to continue walking in the freedom Christ has won.
